Due to changes in the NO-E Rules for
NHRA Bracket finals, Auto-shifters will now BE ALLOWED in NO-E
Class at SMP! This was done to keep on line with Bracket Finals and other NHRA
tracks.
Basic Safety and Tech Rules
1. All cars require seat belts.
2.All vehicles must have a radiator overflow bottle
3.You must turn in a tech card before making a pass.
4.Must obey all track and safety officials.
Sooner Motorplex Rules
1. No glass containers.
2. 10 MPH speed limit in the pit area.
3. Drivers of scooters, golf carts, pit bikes, 4 wheelers, etc., must be 16
years old..
No recreational driving of these
vehicles..
4. No alcoholic beverages in
the staging lanes or on the track.
5. No drinking of alcoholic beverages by drivers until they are completely done
driving for the duration of the event.
6. Track official at the starting line is in charge and will make all final
calls.
7. Bracket racers: Dial-ins must be on the car, and legible, before leaving the
staging lanes...No Exceptions.
8. You must have a time only tech card to run time only passes.
9. ALL vehicles must have at least one working taillight. TAILLIGHT/S MUST BE ON
BEFORE DARK.
This is for YOUR
safety.
Class Racing Rules
1. In
No-E class, Delay Boxes must be removed from vehicle. No Trans Brakes. Auto
Shifters ARE ALLOWED.
2. NO vehicles moving in pit area while Jr Dragster class is running.
This will be announced during this time so that
everyone is aware.
3. All vehicles must pass NHRA tech inspection.
4. If you have a legitimate breakdown BEFORE the 1st round of eliminations,
you will be eligible to get your CLASS
ENTRY fees back, but not the gate fee.
(If you pay 20.00 gate fee and 40.00 class
fee, you will be eligible to get your 40.00 back)
5. YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE WORKING TAILLIGHT IN USE BEFORE DARK!
6. If you stage....that means you accept the ET posted on the scoreboard. It is
the drivers
responsibility to check the ET. If you
stage....you accept!
